Szilvia Bognár Sextet, guest: Afrodité Elizavet Radisz (HU)

In addition to Hungarian folk songs, the band's repertoire also includes arrangements of Hungarian Gypsy, Bulgarian, Greek and Sephardic songs. While preserving the acoustic sound and the naturalness of the traditional performance style, they safely paddle through the diverse musical styles and the babel-like diversity of traditional melodies.

In the musicality of the Szilvia Bognár Sextet, three musical worlds meet and intertwine. The outstanding performers of the Hungarian jazz and world music scene, also highlighting their individual styles, combine folk songs of different nationalities with the characteristic motifs and moods of jazz and Indian classical music into a harmonious whole. In this concert, Elizavet Radisz Afrodité, a student of Szilvia Bognár, joins the group for a couple of songs.
